I recently just turned nineteen and now that I’m older, wiser, more mature — ya know old woman stuff — I’ve decided maybe this is the year that I make some New Year’s Resolutions. Nineteen New Year’s Resolutions to be exact.
Work out more…cliche? Sue me.
And eat healthier.
Cook more often in my dorm.
maybe I will stick to the simpler recipes…
Learn to enjoy running. The cheapest way to work out in New York and I better start to like it soon gosh darnit.
Save more money…albeit living in New York makes this difficult.
Shop online less…if I do this, I will probably succeed in saving money.
Read for leisure more often.
And read the news more, not just the CNN and New York Times push notification news updates. Read the actual articles.
Write more hand written letters to friends.
Drink less coffee…I’m really just setting myself for failure on this one.
Get more sleep every night instead of just saving it up for the weekend.
Explore New York more.
Procrastinate less because it would just be illogical to say “stop procrastinating.”
Spend less time on my phone when I am with people. We’re all guilty of it, I’ve been told I am worse than others.
Find a new hobby.
Get outside more.
Be okay with being alone.
And I will stopping succumbing to FOMO.
